T minus 7 days...and counting
It's been 3 weeks since we announced this trip, and in that time nearly 50 volunteers have managed to rearrange work commitments and personal schedules and make travel arrangements to join us in New Orleans.
Kudos to Cheryl and Jen for fielding (and generating) literally hundreds of emails! They've been working (seemingly) round the clock to help coordinate schedules and ensure that everyone confirms their RSVPs by providing their arrival information and liability waivers.
In fact, kudos to Cheryl and Jen for even suggesting that One Brick embark on such a trip!
We've got one week to go until we start arriving in New Orleans, and it looks like we've got most of the details for it in place. We're looking forward to a great trip, and making a HUGE impact with almost 50 volunteers working there for a week!

No Strings Attached Debauchery or Simple Living: I choose the latter
| For four years, volunteer trips were my spring break getaways from New York City - roadtrips, communal living, home building, and strangers becoming lifelong friends :) Now living in Californian suburbs, my enthusiasm for volunteer trips remain!  One Brick's trip to New Orleans will be fun! Stay tuned for updates... |
